Choose the experience before filling the day
A private tour works best when the itinerary reflects what matters to your group. Some travellers prefer a short city visit, while others want a longer countryside outing or several nights across the North Island. Tell us about interests, walking preferences, children and any fixed appointment. Avoid combining distant attractions merely because they appear on the same island.
A chauffeur journey provides transport within the agreed itinerary. It should not be assumed to include specialist guiding, attraction entry, meals or a particular activity. Check each published package’s inclusions and ask about anything not stated. A clear plan before payment is more useful than a long list of stops that cannot fit comfortably into the day.
Auckland, Waikato and Rotorua itinerary planning
An Auckland sightseeing day can focus on the waterfront and city experiences without committing to a long regional drive. Waikato itineraries may involve Hamilton, Cambridge, Matamata or a booked attraction visit. Some attractions use timed admission; confirm a workable transport schedule before purchasing tickets that cannot be changed or refunded.
Rotorua and Taupō visits need adequate travel time and realistic stops. Lakefront walks, geothermal attractions and accommodation check-in each take part of the day. Tell us whether you want to return to Auckland or finish at a regional hotel. A one-way touring journey is a different arrangement from a package returning to its original pickup area.

Plan this journeyNorthland and longer North Island touring
Northland itineraries may include coastal accommodation, a Bay of Islands stay or several stops along the journey. Use exact addresses and avoid treating every coastal destination as a quick detour. Weather, daylight and rural road access can influence a sensible plan. Some visitor activities and ferry connections need their own reservations and conditions.
A longer route towards Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki or Wellington requires a custom availability review. Overnight chauffeur arrangements, multiple hotel changes and daily travel commitments need to be agreed before confirmation. GoBlackTransfer is Auckland based; this guide does not imply a local branch or guaranteed tour departure in each region. Share your travel dates early for a useful response.
Tour pricing and what your package includes
Published private tours use the package’s configured fixed price or planned round-trip distance pricing and vehicle option. A return to the original area is not automatically an extra second fare when it is already part of the package itinerary. Read the pickup, destination, duration and inclusions before choosing the tour that fits your plans.
Custom stops, a different pickup region or an overnight route may need a separate quote. Enter your contact and trip details before viewing eligible vehicle prices. Short-notice pickups within 72 hours also go for review. Claim GOBLACK5 for the existing flat 5% booking offer, and ask for it to be shown in a manually confirmed tour quote.
Prepare for a comfortable sightseeing day
Give the full passenger and luggage count, especially if the tour is also a hotel-to-hotel transfer. Bags remain part of the vehicle-capacity requirement even when there are frequent stops. Discuss child seats, access needs and planned breaks before booking. Keep attraction bookings and your transport itinerary consistent so the chauffeur can work to the agreed schedule.
If a place is essential, say so when asking for the itinerary review. The team can discuss what fits around it rather than promising every attraction regardless of distance. Check the confirmed inclusions, fare and booking terms before payment. Start with a published package below, or contact GoBlackTransfer to plan a journey outside the listed options.
