Welcome to GoBlackTransfer, a premium chauffeur and private transfer service based in Auckland, New Zealand. By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, reliable, and professional experience for all customers while complying with applicable New Zealand laws.
1. About GoBlackTransfer
GoBlackTransfer operates as a sole trader business providing professional chauffeur and transfer services across the North Island of New Zealand, including airport transfers, city-to-city transfers, hourly chauffeur services, private tours, and corporate travel services. By making a booking with GoBlackTransfer, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Booking & Reservations
- All bookings must be made through our website, email, phone, or approved booking channels.
- Customers must provide accurate booking details, including pickup and drop-off location, travel date and time, passenger count, luggage requirements, and special requests such as child seats.
- Incorrect or incomplete booking information may affect service quality and may result in additional charges.
- Luggage requirements must be clearly mentioned at the time of booking to ensure a suitable vehicle is assigned.
3. Payment Terms
- Full payment is required in advance to confirm all bookings.
- GoBlackTransfer reserves the right to cancel any booking if payment has not been received before the scheduled service.
- Prices displayed or quoted are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless otherwise stated.
- Additional charges may apply for extra stops, extended waiting time, route changes requested during travel, additional luggage exceeding declared capacity, and other requested services.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Customers may cancel their booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of pickup may be non-refundable.
- Failure to appear at the pickup location without communication, known as a no show, may result in 100% of booking charges being retained.
- Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
5. Airport Transfers & Waiting Time
- For airport pickups, GoBlackTransfer provides 45 to 60 minutes complimentary waiting time, depending on the booking type.
- Flight delays will be monitored where flight details are provided during booking.
- Additional waiting time beyond the complimentary period may incur extra charges.
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate flight information.
6. Child Seats
- Child seats are available upon request and subject to availability.
- Additional charges apply for child seat requests.
- Customers must request child seats during booking.
- Parents or guardians remain responsible for ensuring the suitability of requested seating arrangements for children.
7. Passenger Conduct
- Smoking, vaping, illegal substances, and dangerous behavior are strictly prohibited in all vehicles.
- Passengers must behave respectfully toward chauffeurs and other passengers.
- Chauffeurs reserve the right to refuse service where passenger behavior presents a safety risk.
8. Vehicle Damage & Cleaning Fees
- Customers may be held responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle during travel.
- Additional cleaning or repair charges may apply for food or drink spills, excessive mess, smoking-related cleaning, vomiting or bodily fluid contamination, and intentional or accidental damage.
- Cleaning and repair fees will be charged based on actual costs incurred.
9. Delays & Service Limitations
- While we aim to provide punctual service, GoBlackTransfer shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including traffic conditions, weather events, road closures, vehicle breakdowns, public emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances.
- We reserve the right to substitute vehicles where necessary without prior notice.
10. Liability
- GoBlackTransfer will take reasonable care in providing services but shall not be liable for missed flights due to circumstances outside our control, delays caused by incorrect customer information, or loss or damage to personal belongings left in vehicles.
- Customers are responsible for checking the vehicle for personal belongings before exiting.
11. Privacy
- Personal information collected during booking is used solely for booking management, customer communication, and service delivery.
- Customer information will not be sold or shared with third parties unless required by law or necessary for service delivery.
12. Compliance with New Zealand Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits customer rights under applicable New Zealand consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
